Arab Women of the Year Awards
15 March, 65 Sloane Street, SW1. These Awards celebrate Arab women’s achievements in a variety of disciplines, including television, film, music, sports and sciences. Sustainable Tourism

The Chamber is holding a series of events in the run-up to its third Economic Summit, including a forum on sustainable tourism, which it sees as a vital source of income generation and job creation, as well as a major opportunity for investors and innovative companies. Storytelling Project
Until 28 March, Grand Junction at St. Mary Magdalene Church, W2. Grand Junction is working with the biennial Arab festival, Shubbak, to collect the stories of the people of West London whose heritage spans the Arab world from Iraq to Morocco. Working with theatre professionals in this arts and cultural space, the stories will then be turned into a public performance later this year. Open Mic Night — A Night of Arabic Music
27 April, Rich Mix, E1. A group of talented singers and musicians at this popular venue in East London will perform songs from the likes of Umm Kulthum, Fairouz and Mashrou’ Leila, as well as original songs and exclusive mashups. See here for tickets.
Acid Arab
28 April, Night Tales, E8. This event in East London’s largest outdoor terrace explores the breadth of electronic music, taking you on a cross-continental journey all night long.
