Real Estate Seminar

We held our annual real estate seminar on Thursday 30th June, under the generous sponsorship of National Bank of Kuwait (international) Plc, Trowers & Hamlins LLP and Finchatton.

Liam Bailey outlined latest developments in the London prime real estate market, commenting on the renewed demand that is being driven by investors travelling again as the dangers of the Covid pandemic recedes. Bassam Khazen commented on how investors have been adjusting their financing structures as the market revives. Matt O'Brien considered the implications of the Register of Overseas Entities which the UK government is introducing in order to increase transparency of ownership in the UK property market. Richard Luffingham presented The Whiteley – a major real estate development in London's Bayswater, on the site of the old Whiteley shopping centre. 

The presentations were followed by a spirited question and answer session, and then by a buffet dinner.
