Medical Aid for Palestinians
Annual Dinner 2011
The Children of Palestine
Saturday 24th September 2011
The Royal Garden Hotel, High Street Kensington, London
Medical Aid for Palestinians is delighted to invite you to MAP’s Annual Dinner 2011. This is a very important night, when we all come together to show our support for the many people that work under great personal risk to bring aid to the children of Palestine. We will be raising funds for a host of projects which reach out to children forced to live as refugees, learning to cope with loss, with war-ravaged lives, with an uncertain and terrifying future.
We have a full programme planned for you, including a live performance of Seven Jewish Children, the acclaimed and powerful play written for Gaza by the distinguished playwright Caryl Churchill.
You will also hear from Michael Mansfield QC, a charismatic and passionate advocate for human rights. He will be joined on stage by other eminent figures supporting our work to help the children of Palestine.
For more than 25 years, MAP has been providing healthcare and medical aid to people worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement. It is solely due to the generous support of a whole community of valued supporters such as yourselves, that we are able to continue to respond effectively to needs on the ground.
The evening is also an opportunity for you to share your thoughts on how we can work together to help Palestinians build a future — for today’s children, and for the children of tomorrow. Tickets cost £160 each. Please see attached Booking Form or contact MAP’s office on 0207226 4114 to book.
Best Wishes,
Arab Bankers Association.
