Senior Credit Officer – Arab Bank – Jordan

Senior Credit Officer (Arabic Speaking)

There is an opening for an Arabic-speaking Senior Credit Officer who will report to the Chief Credit Officer CCO, and who will lead a Middle East-based team of Credit Analysts with a regional scope.

Key accountabilities include:

  •  Reviewing and recommending the Credit/portfolio strategies of the Region from industry and client segment perspectives.
  •  Analyzing credit requests received from Corporate Banking executives in line with strategy and portfolio guidelines.
  • Review/ identify the appropriateness of risk mitigation tools and exit strategies.
  • Ensure the integrity and quality of client, market and industry data analysis
  •  Participate in relevant credit committee(s)
  • Work with Country Credit Managers and Area Management towards achieving country business targets.
  • Set business objectives, manage performance and provide leadership advice to a team of Middle East – based Credit  Analysts.

The successful applicant will have a track record of success in Credit review and Credit risk management , gained with international banks, and of leading teams of diversified cultural and professional backgrounds.  He or she shall be a transparent and collaborative leader and will excel at communicating with stakeholders at every level of the organisation.
