The Arab Bankers Association, a non-profit organisation, was founded in London in 1980. Its aims are to promote the professional interests of Arab bankers in Europe and the Middle East, to provide services to the Arab banking and financial community, and to act as a forum for Arab bankers to meet and promote their business objectives.
Our thanks go to those active members of the ABA who have contributed to our association. We would be amiss however not to mention some of the leaders who have provided the guidance to the ABA during its formative years including Adel Dajani, Ahmed Abdullatif, Antoine Zananiri , Fakhruddin Khalil , Mohammed Fezzani, Munir Haddad and Wael El-Mikdadi and many other active supporters of the ABA too numerous to list here as well as the former Chairmen:
