Director, Payment System Department, Palestinian Monetary Authority. The Director will be responsible for providing strategic and organizational leadership in relation to all aspects of developing a comprehensive Payment system in Palestine; including payment system operations and policies and banking operations. The Director will be responsible for deployment and management of the infrastructure for large value payments and retail payments systems serving 21 banks operating in Palestine with around 160 branches. He/ she will be responsible for developing policies of payment and securities settlement systems aimed at defining and implementing a national strategy. The Director reports to the Governor/Deputy Governor. Click here for further information. Division Chief, Reserve Management Division, Palestinian Monetary Authority. The Division Chief will be responsible for providing strategic and organizational leadership in relation to all aspects of managing the reserves of the PMA in compliance with its reserve management guidelines as laid out by the Board of Directors and conducting reserve investment operations and any other transactions in Palestine or abroad undertaken by the PMA. Once the PMA transforms into a full fledged central bank , the division chief will then be responsible for monitoring and executing the government's foreign debt service obligations, monitoring the domestic foreign exchange market and taking needed action in that market when instructed to do so.
