Membership Types & Benefits
Individual Members
Individual membership is open to Arab nationals in the banking and
the financial-related service industries.
- Members have the right to attend and vote at the Annual General
Assembly
- Members receive notices of conferences and seminars sponsored
by the ABA, as well as invitations to lunches, gala dinners, special events and
other meetings.
- Members benefit from the services offered by the Association
particularly in terms of information, networking and communication.
- The cost for an Individual Member is £150 p.a. and a one
time joining fee of £75
Associate Members
Associate membership is open to both Arab and non Arab
institutions involved in the banking and financial-related services sectors in
the Middle East. It offers the following benefits:
- Attending the meetings of the Annual General Assembly as
observers.
- Receiving all publications and studies produced by the ABA free
of charge.
- Nominating up to three members of their staf for individual
membership of the Association free of charge.
- A reduction of 20% on normal advertising rates for a series of
advertisements in the Journal.
- Receiving notices of conferences and seminars sponsored by the
ABA, invitations to lunches, gala dinners, special events and other meetings.
- Promotion for Associate members through ABA's publications and
conference activities.
- The use of office space at ABA's premises for overseas members.
- The cost for Associate Membership is £3,500 p.a. and
includes a free link on our web site.
Friend of the Association
Membership as a Friend of the Association is a class of non-voting
membership that is open to non-Arab nationals in the financial services
industry. The Friends enjoy the same benefits as Individual Members.
The cost to become a Friend of the Association is £95 p.a.
Young Professional
For young professionals, age 22-28 the cost is £50 p.a. and
there is no joining fee. This membership is open to both Arab and non-Arab
young professionals, aged 22-28 in the financial services industry. The
membership cost is £50 per annum. |
